In a recent interview with Glamour, Millie Bobby Brown, best known for her role in "Stranger Things," shared a surprising revelation about her journey towards embracing feminism. The 19-year-old actress, who initially didn't identify as a feminist, credited a psychic for her newfound perspective.

According to Brown, her 'feminist awakening' occurred during a psychic reading, where she was informed that she was, indeed, a feminist. Intrigued by this revelation, she delved into research upon returning home, reading articles and books to gain a deeper understanding of feminism and its significance.

Ultimately it’s about opportunity, Brown explained, emphasizing her commitment to advocating for women's rights.

Brown's dedication to the cause extends to her production company, PCMA Productions, responsible for producing her movies like "Enola Holmes" and its sequel. Through her company, she aims to amplify women's stories and promote greater diversity in the film industry.

One of her upcoming projects, "Damsel," casts Brown as Princess Elodie, a dragon-fighting warrior, alongside acclaimed actors Angela Bassett and Robin Wright. PCMA Productions also has promising works in the pipeline, including "The Girls I've Been" and "A Time Lost."

Despite her success with "Stranger Things," Brown expressed readiness to bid farewell to the series and explore new horizons in her career.

When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,’ she shared, highlighting the time-consuming nature of filming the popular Netflix series. Stranger Things takes up a lot of time to film, and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye.’

Having been part of "Stranger Things" since its inception in 2016, Brown acknowledges the show has equipped her with "the tools and the resources to be a better actor." Her next venture, "The Electric State," a post-apocalyptic adventure film from the Russo Brothers, features her alongside Chris Pratt. Brown expressed excitement about being treated with equal respect and consideration on the set.

It’s a very exciting opportunity that I never thought I’d be able to have, to be treated the same as him and to be looked at and respected the same as him on the set by the production, by the studio, she remarked.

"The Electric State" is set for release in 2024, marking a new and thrilling chapter in Millie Bobby Brown's already illustrious career.
